What's New with K9 Bytes?

Spring is here and so is the newsletter from K9 Bytes for the month of March!

We would like to announce some changes here at the company. As of now, Joshua Candamo, still President and CEO of K9 Bytes is focusing primarily on programming duties. Our new General Manager is now industry veteran John Freed. John is now running the day to day operations of the company. Mr. Freed has nearly 40 years of experience working in the pet care industry and is extremely knowledgeable on utilizing K9 Bytes software in a real-world setting.

Important AnnouncementA quick reminder to everyone regarding the management of holidays in your K9 Koordinator program: Please make sure to adjust your settings to reflect the actual dates for holidays for the year 2011! The settings can be adjusted under:

Setup-->Settings-->Holidays and Seasons.

What's New in the K9 Koordinator?

We would like to include some of the improvements that have been included in the K9 Koordinator since our last newsletter. The current release of K9 Koordinator Cheetah is version 6.0.462. If you are running behind, you want to be running the latest version! Use the K9 Bytes Updater to automatically check for and download the latest K9 Koordinator. Click here for instructions on how to dowload and use the Updater. Here is a list of changes since our last newsletter:

Please note that a lot of general cleanup and minor inside performance improvements were done in this update!

 

Reports

  1. Grooming history report now includes grooming services.
  2. New report for retail inventory list for only inactive products.

Joshua Candamo, PhD

Joshua Candamo has been involved in dog breeding and show handling with his family all his life. Dr. Candamo received a PhD degree in Computer Science with minor concentrations in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of South Florida. His main areas of research and technical publications are in the fields of Pattern Recognition and Image Processing. Joshua has been invited all over the United States to give seminars and talks about applying technology to the pet care industry, and talks about his research applications.
